29 czerwca 1999 roku nastąpiło jedno z ważniejszych wydarzeń w historii muzyki metalowej. Właśnie tego dnia premierę miała debiutancka płyta dziewięcioosobowej grupy zamaskowanych szaleńców z Des Moines w stanie Iowa, ukrywających się pod nazwą Slipknot.Wydawnictwo wyprodukował Ross Robinson. Przyniosło ono pierwsze klasyki w dorobku formacji, z "Wait And Bleed", "Spit It Out", "(Sic)" "Surfacing" i "Eyeless" na czele. Krążek pokrył się wielokrotnie platyną i był przepustką Slipknot do wielkiej sławy oraz statusu legendy. Prezentowana edycja składająca się z CD i DVD, ukazała się z okazji 10-lecia premiery tej jakże ważnej płyty dla ekstremalnego grania. Do oryginalnej listy utworów dodano kilka piosenek w innych miksach i wersjach demo. Doskonała płyta, oczywiście dla fanów ciężkich brzmień. Warto przesłuchać, warto mieć w kolekcji. Dodatki zawierająca specjalna edycja czynią z niej jeszcze ciekawszą pozycję do kolekcji.

Czy można dodać coś do tak dobrej płyty? Można, zapis z jednego z lepszych koncertów oraz kilka bonusowych piosenek. Warte zakupu.

Pierwsza płyta, już sama w sobie była porywająca, w wersji na 10 rocznicę z dodatkami jest jeszcze lepsza.
