The top plate is mounted on the camera’s top by 4 screws. It can be attached facing front or back of the camera, depending on your preferences. What is important, the top plate itself does not adhere the camera’s body. The only four places where top plates adheres it are the placed where attachment screws are mounted. Such solution prevents the RED® V-Raptor from unwanted damage as well as ensures good air circulation.
