Swans, the legendary New York post-punk noise-rock band around frontman Michael Gira, formed in 1982, broke up in 1997 and eventually reformed with the acclaimed albums "My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky" (2010) and the 2012 opus "The Seer". These two masterpieces will be reissued on CD and LP in early March 2014, and a new studio album, Swans, will also be released on Mute in May. Mute collaborated with Swans back in the 80s, releasing the classic "Children Of God" on the Product Inc. sublabel. The highly acclaimed 2012 studio album "The Seer" will be released on 2CD, 3LP+MP3 and for the first time also on 2CD including a live DVD, which has not been available in Germany yet.
