For fans and collectors, the four-vinyl box set LP 1969-1972 released in 2013 was a true godsend. Now the four albums from that set are also available separately and again: four absolute classics pressed on 140-gram vinyl and lovingly reproduced. To guarantee excellent sound quality, Chris Bellman used lacquer master cuts for all four albums, mastered by Bernie Grundmann. The albums look as good as they sound, as the album artwork has been authentically reproduced and includes the album covers for "Then Play On" (the original track list minus "Oh Well") and Kiln House, as well as the covers for the singles "Future Games" and "Bare Trees". On "Kiln House", Fleetwood Mac took a more melodic and poppy route, as shown by the songs "Mission Bell" and "One Together". At the time the band consisted of Jeremy Spencer (git, voc, piano), Danny Kirwan (git, voc), John McVie (b) and Mick Fleetwood (dr). Although Christine McVie had already done some of the backing vocals and album artwork, she joined the band permanently after the album was recorded. Although Danny Kirwan contributed significantly to the recording, writing about half of the songs, this was to be his last album with Fleetwood Mac.
